We at the Pre-Primary Section of our school strongly believe in this.
A ‘Theme Based Method’ or a ‘Project Method’ is the foundation of the Curriculum of
our
Pre-Primary school, as is prescribed by the ICSE board that our school is affiliated
to.
Each level i.e. Nursery, Junior K.G. and Senior K.G. have a theme which is the basis
of all activities planned every month. As many as 20 Micro Teaching Units are
planned for a month in an assortment from Solitary play to Interactive sessions,
developing motor skills and motivating creativity through varied mediums. Emphasis
is laid on language based
activities to cultivate a flair for English. Two local languages: Hindi and Marathi
are promoted. Time blocks are charted for conducting each Micro Teaching Unit
efficiently. Attention is
paid on the holistic development of each child ranging from Physical, Emotional,
Social and Cognitive aspects.
We believe in the significance of the ‘Readiness period’ which is so vital in
effectively training each child to seek the goals that we motivate her/him to reach.
Emphasis is laid on critical thinking, promoting curiosity with interactive
classroom learning
methods are used to respond to each child. We get each of our little students ready
for formal schooling through the three years that
she/he is with us. And we stand proud to see them graduating to the 1st grade
effortlessly.
Children learn through observation, imitation,
repetition and conditioning. They also learn through trial and error

Mr. Shashank Paranjape commenced the real estate business with his brother Mr. Shrikant Paranjape in 1987. Mr. Shashank is known for ethics and transparency in business, earning him trust and faith in a customer base of more than 15,000 families.
He is the Managing Director of Paranjape Schemes (Construction) Ltd. He is an enthusiastic businessman with a good business acumen garnering him accolades and recognition. In a span of over three decades, his vision has fostered the growth of Paranjape Schemes in various real estate segments like Residential, Commercial, Townships, Hospitality, Senior-Living, SEZs and Educational Institutes.
Mr. Paranjape’s forte lies in providing an insightful vision and getting it implemented meticulously. Driven by his flawless execution abilities and a never-tiring zeal, the Blue Ridge Educational Institute has grown leaps and bounds since its inception in 2010. He is a passionate philanthropist and contributor to Educational Institutes like Parle Tilak Vidyalaya in Mumbai.
His desire to be of service to the society gave birth to the brand Athashri – a Senior Citizen housing concept. He is actively involved in NGO’s like Socio-Economic Trust, Parbhani which caters to the housing and education of orphans and women.
Ms. Vaidehi Moghe

With an experience in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education for over twenty five years, Ms. Vaidehi Moghe has played a key role in re-inventing the Pre-Primary Section of Blue Ridge Public School.
She has authored books for a systematic approach in English Reading and Readiness Activity for the age group of 3 to 5 years of age; and is currently working on a cohesive thematic approach bringing in a multi-disciplinary learning system for this age group.
Ms. Moghe is an ardent educator who believes in adapting a Play-way method in formulating a succinct system to capture the Readiness period of each child without burdening the innocent minds. Her motto has always been to instill an attribute to learn how to learn and to develop critical thinking in her students.
She conducts Refresher Workshops for Teachers to keep them conversant with current teaching skills. She has handled children under speculation as slow learners, ADHD and non-specific disabilities in an integrated class in her early days as a teacher.
Being connected with Rotary Club for more than three decades, she has participated in social causes in bringing up children of the lower socio-economic community.
Ms. Moghe runs free private coaching classes for needy children in the age group of 5 to 16 years on weekends.
Trained in classical dance – Bharat Natyam and playing the Sitar, she has a keen interest in performing arts which benefits in motivating creativity in her team of teachers and students alike.
Ms. Meghali Katdare

A person with multi-tasking abilities, Ms. Meghali Katdare has been in the profession of real estate for over two decades. She is an affable person with excellent public relations. With an ability of good observations and tactful interviewing skills she has been able to contribute in bringing good personnel (teaching as well as non-teaching staff) to Blue Ridge Public School as well as to the organization she works with i.e. Paranjape Schemes.
Being inclined towards social responsibility, Meghali has contributed in various charity programs run by organizations like CRY and SAKAL FUNDS. She is passionate about working with seniors and is instrumental in maintaining and managing Paranjape Schemes’ Senior-living housing brand called ‘Athashri’.
A creative person, she enjoys sketching and painting. She is also fond of content writing for articles and is an avid reader and traveller.

As a Senator his role includes helping the start-up / early stage companies along with SMEs to rise to a global scale leveraging the WBAF network across 111 countries around the globe.
He is also a mentor with the Atal Incubation Centre a leading Incubation Centre supported by the Government of India. By profession he is an Investment Banker and has a rich experience in the financial services industry in India and overseas. He is a member of the prestigious MDRT (Million Dollar RoundTable) club and has been a TOT (Top of the Table) and COT (Court of the Table) two of the highest accolades for financial advisors. He has been a speaker at many international and national conferences on personal finance, private equity and family office.
He is the author of two books“Investing in Turbulent Times”and “Investing in the Turbulent Decade That Was & Beyond”. He writes in leading financial newspapers including the Mid-Day where his column features every Monday in the finance section.
He is a visiting faculty in leading management colleges like S.P. Jain, NMIMS, Welingkaretc.
He works closely with many foundations and large corporates on the CSR funding and sustainability eco system with a sole aim for inclusive growth which would help India transform from a developing to a developed nation.
Mrs. Swapna Joshi

Mrs. Swapna Joshi has extensive experience spanning over 40 years in the field of education and administration of educational institutes. After graduating from S.N.D.T College of Home Science, Pune in 1978 with a specialization in Child Development, she started out as an educator by forming a playgroup school in Mumbai.
After shifting base to Pune in 1993, she has been an integral part of several reputed schools such as Shree Vijay Vallabh School, BVB Paranjape Nursery School, Pumpkin Patch School and Blue Ridge Public School as the Pre-Primary Section Head. Her expertise has been instrumental in setting up this very critical stage from scratch at all these schools. Her expert guidance, motivation and mentorship to the teaching as well as non-teaching staff always ensured smooth operations and progress at all these institutions throughout her years of association therewith.
After retiring as the Principal of the Pre-Primary Section at Blueridge Public School in 2017, she briefly assumed the position of Director on the board of Blueridge Public School and is now the Honorary Secretary of Blueridge Public School since Nov 2020. In this position, she acts as the vital link between all three Principals and the management team towards cohesively driving the overall administration of the school.
Mrs. Joshi was also actively involved in the groundwork and administration activities towards inception of the Junior College which was started by Blue Ridge Educational Institute from AY 2022-23. She continues to oversee the operational activities of the college. The college will benefit the students from not only our school but also other students who reside in the vicinity.
Her excellent interpersonal skills, ever calm and positive demeanor, transparent communication, and strong sense of responsibility towards the betterment of the institution makes for an exemplary leader who believes in leading by example. She has always been a source of support and encouragement to her peers, teachers and parents alike.

Having worked in Shree Vijay Vallabh School, Kamalnayan Bajaj School and Dr. DY Patil Public School Pimpri and now at Blue Ridge Public School, she comes with diverse experiences and multiple perspectives on Indian education system and theBoards.
Her illustrious academic profile includes a degree in TTC from St. Mary's Juniorcollege of Education and B.Ed. In addition to this, she has also upgraded her education by attending various lectures and seminars from time totime.
For more than 3 decades, she has been an active contributor towards Academic Excellence. With her vast experience and expertise in teaching, she strengthens Blue Ridge Public School with her able administrative skills and sincere purpose.
She is also the recipient of the Major Dhyanchand Award 2019 for excellence in the field of Teaching.

Mrs. Surinder Kaur Sayan has completed her Secondary education (ICSE) from Holy Angels School, Punjab. She pursued her Bachelor’s degree from Government Home Science College, Chandigarh and Post-Graduation in Child Development from Kurukshetra University. With an experience in the field of education for over 23 years she has played a key role in imparting quality education and mentoring the students and teachers of Blue Ridge Public School.
Mrs. Sayan is a highly versatile and dynamic person and brings her vision of providing quality education. She has taught senior classes in reputed CISCE schools and held the position of Co-ordinator and Supervisor throughout her career. As a qualified educationist she has in-depth exposure to the entire spectrum of education system i.e. planning and implementing integrated solution in curriculum planning and teaching techniques, lesson planning, administration and classroom management. She has worked as a lecturer in a reputed college.
Numerous best practices have been brought in by her which have enhanced the standard of teaching and learning process at BRPS. She motivates the young minds to explore subjective pedagogy so as to consider the implications during teaching. Counselling sessions conducted for the adolescents by her give them insight to cope with the hardships pertaining to their age.
