OUR PROUDEST MOMENT!!!
Dial 1098…

Child line India Foundation has conferred the ‘Champion’s Trophy’ to Blue Ridge Public School for:
Excellence in raising awareness as well as resources for the care and protection of Under Privileged children'

'CHILD LINE' stands for a friendly 'didi' or a sympathetic 'bhaiya' who is always there for vulnerable children 24 hours of the day, 365 days of the year.

A phone number that spells hope for millions of children across India, CHILDLINE is India's first 24-hour, free emergency phone service for children in need of aid and assistance. Whether you are a concerned adult or a child, you can dial 1098, the toll free number to access our services.”

We began our journey with an NGO Childline in the year 2011-2012. Childline works to safeguard all children in general. But their special focus is on children in need of care and protection, especially the most vulnerable section which includes street children, child labourers and domestic help.

There is a strong feeling that in the present times there is a crisis in character formation. It is also felt that since character is largely moulded during childhood and youth, it is the responsibility of educational institutions to provide fortification for character building. For this very purpose we are working in tandem with an NGO that believes that children are our future and we need to guide and protect them from all adversities. Life is beautiful and we, along with our students are trying to make it more beautiful for every underprivileged child. As Swami Vivekananda rightly said, “True education is man-making education”. It implies that all education must stem from value education.

WE LEAD TOWARDS THE SPACE

BRPS is proud to be the FIRST in organizing CANSAT in Pune, Maharashtra. CanSat is a miniaturized simulation of a real satellite, integrated with the volume and shape of a soft drink can. That is why it is called 'CAN'-SAT.

The Mission Mentor Prof. Suresh Naik Ex – Group Director ISRO, Chairman International Space Society, has earned the reputation of being a dedicated Crusader of popularizing space science among the students since the last two decades.

Why we build a CanSat is:
1 It performs real missions such as atmospheric measurements, photos and video capture.
2 It has most of the subsystems found in a real Satellite.
3 It provides first step training for satellite development, management and operations.
